Perry Hill Farm is pleased to offer sun powered herbal products. We have herbal teas, herbal soaps, herbal oils, herbal tinctures, herbal salves, and herbal creams.
The utmost care is taken when we are making our herbal products. We use our own organically grown or wild-crafted herbs. Since 1991, no chemical fertilizers or pesticides have been used on our farm. Many of the herbs that are wild-crafted at our farm are harvested responsibly ensuring future plant populations. Our herbal teas are handpicked and carefully dried.

Our herbal soaps are made with natural materials and certified organic oils. When possible, we use local products, like certified organic corn from a local Millbrook farm. We do not use artificial colors or chemical preservatives in any of our products. We proudly list the ingredients of each product we make. None of the ingredients in our products have been tested on animals. Our products do not contain animal products except the moisturizing soap, which contains powdered goat’s milk and honey.
The herbal oils have been slowly infused in the sun or in the dark with olive oil and our own organically grown medicinal plants. The tinctures are carefully prepared and steeped for at least six weeks using 100 proof food grade alcohol and our organically grown medicinal plants.
Our Salves are made with our infused oils, beeswax, and Vit. E. They are pure and simple. Depending on the plants each season, we will have St. John's Wort Salve, Jewelweed Salve, Calendula Salve, and Comfrey Salve. In 2012 we noticed our St. John's wort did not bloom as much as in the past, therefore, we do not have St. John's Wort Salve this year. We do have Jewelweed Salve, and Calendula Salve while supplies last.
We are selling our products at the the Rhinebeck Farmers' Market. We do not have our herbal salves/tinctures/creams online. Since we only use herbs/medicinal plants grown on our farm we need to make sure we have inventory of these products. They can not be custom made like our soaps and our dependent on the plants. You may always email Vicki to see if we have the product at vharkness (at) perryhillfarm.com
